what is your trick to find them?

No tricks ;-) I happen to come across them by chance, I'm not really looking for them... (Il m'arrive de les croiser par hasard, je ne les cherche pas vraiment...). This was on a very warm summer night. I walked through the field in flip-flops and almost stood on him. Since then I wear boots at night in the field :-) But I think the best way is to walk in the early morning slowly along a sunny forest edge or hedge, making sure you don't cast a shadow on the edge. I then sometimes find them when they are warming up in the sun.
